SUMMARY:Empowering Girls
DESCRIPTION:The University of Malta is organising a Girls4STEM Week between the 12th and 16th September 2022\, aimed at female students who have finished Year 7. The girls will participate in teams in activities linked to real life problems in which they apply their knowledge of different STEM areas (science\, technology\, engineering\, mathematics) and learn new concepts in a hands-on\, collaborative environment. The Girls4STEM Week will also include meeting and working with women involved in STEM-related careers. They will explore STEM through a variety of topics and applications. It is envisaged that through the various planned activities\, students will become more aware of their own potential and increase their interest in studying\, being involved and in pursuing careers in STEM\, digital disciplines and entrepreneurship especially with regard to leadership positions. \nShare this post

SUMMARY:Hands-on workshop on co-creation
DESCRIPTION:within the series of OS together inspiration sessions on September 20th 2022 from 10.30-12.30 (CEST) \nHands-on workshop on co-creation\, organised by the MOST project \nThe goal of this workshop is to experience how to engage different stakeholders in a collaborative work process. At the beginning\, there will be a short input on the topic\, followed by an introduction to a real-life scenario with subsequent role play in breakout rooms. In a plenary reflection session\, our workshop team will link the participants’ experiences with hints for successful co-creation processes. \nThe workshop lasts two hours and has a very practical structure. All participants are invited to actively work through the content in the form of a role play in breakout rooms. \nOStogether is an initiative of several H2020 projects on Open Schooling. \nShare this post
