SUMMARY:Multiplier Event: 21st Century Skills and STEM Education
DESCRIPTION:This multiplier event is part of our international project STEMkey and will take place on December 2nd\, 2022 from 5pm-8pm at the University of Nicosia\, Cyprus. It focuses on digital competencies in STEM education. \nAt the conference\, the STEMKey project will be presented with an emphasis on digital competences within STEM education. In the second part of the conference\, two workshops focusing on robotics and artificial intelligence in STEM subjects will take place. SUMMARY:STEMkey's 4th Transnational Project Meeting
DESCRIPTION:During this meeting\, the main focus is on finding solutions to assess STEM key competences in classroom settings. Assessment methods are of high importance\, as only when teachers are enabled to assess learners’ performances upon completion of any given task/subject lesson/programme can they realistically implement these activities in their classrooms. Key competences pose a particular challenge here\, as key competences are a combination fo knowledge\, skills and attitudes. Whereas knowledge bits have been assessed for ages\, this does not apply to skills and least of all attitudes in STEM education so far.
