DESCRIPTION:How to support STEM knowledge\, skills and attitudes with an interdisciplinary approach \nThis June\, students from different European countries come together to participate in our STEMkey summer school. \nCore of STEM education at school traditionally is the delivery of fundamental subject knowledge like functions\, human anatomy\, and chemical reactions. Learners’ skills to apply gained knowledge and attitudes to set it in context with their life and societal decision-making processes have not been sufficiently nurtured likewise. \nThis will change! \nThe STEMkey summer school offers the opportunity to learn about integrated STEM approaches which not only transfer subject knowledge of various maths\, science\, technology and engineering topics\, but also allows the development of skills and attitudes. A special feature is the focus on 21st-century skills: Critical-Thinking\, Creativity and Problem-Solving. \nThe event involves workshops on different STEM subject topics and will be held by an international team of renowned lecturers from 8 countries! \n  \nSTEMkey innovates your STEM lessons through an interdisciplinary competence-based approach\, and supports you to support your students to develop the STEM competences they need for today and tomorrow. \n  \n
