Lukewarm summer nights and the smell of barbecue parties are in the air. In summer, sitting outside in the garden with your family or friends – what could be better?

Of course, when sitting together under the open sky, candles should not be missing as suitable lighting. They are available in all possible sizes, shapes, colours and with very different smells. But how long does such a candle actually burn? Is it possible to illuminate an entire barbecue evening with the burning time of a single candle?

Determine the burning time of the big candle on the picture above. First think about how long, for example, a tea light candle burns. You can use the sunglasses as a size comparison for the candle shown above.
