In times of quarantine and curfew, toilet paper is considered to be an eminent commodity. But even before, going to the toilet – at least in Germany – had its price! Stopping on a highway, peeing only once, is costing us 70 cents.
Many people are annoyed, that meanwhile, you have to pay to use any bathroom. If, at least, the money would be used to keeping the toilets clean, when in fact oftentimes, the supposedly „quiet place“ has not seen any cleanser in a long time. In this case, 70 cents is clearly too much – isn’t it?
How much does an average visit to the toilet actually cost? Consider the cost of toilet paper, soap, water for flushing and washing your hands, as well as the paper you use for drying them afterwards. Also consider, how much money you have to calculate for the cleaner and their cleaning agents, down to the toilet usage in-between cleaning sessions.
