You approach the clock and notice that it has stopped at 12:36:15. There is a note on the clock that says:

Adjust the clock hands according to the instructions. Remember: Early in this context means you’ll have to move the clock hands clockwise. When you have done that, pull the pendulum. Remember sixty minutes equal one hour.
