From 2022 to 2025, the ICSE Academy offers groundbreaking professional development opportunities for pre-service and in-service STEM teachers across Europe.

In collaboration with 13 higher education institutions, 13 policy-making organizations, and 65 schools in 13 European countries, the ICSE Academy provides a range of innovative formats:

  • Job Shadowing: Learn directly from experienced teachers in action.
  • Workshop Series: Deepen your knowledge through interactive sessions.
  • Summer Schools: Explore European perspectives on STEM education.

These activities foster international exchange, allowing you to learn from and with European colleagues.

Our mission

Our mission is to support the European Union’s initiative to decrease the number of low-performing STEM learners. We are committed to enhancing the quality of STEM education by investing in the development of a world-class STEM teacher workforce and promoting European partnerships among teacher education and training providers.

ICSE Academy TwinSpace

The ICSE Academy Twin Space is a place of inspiration for STEM teachers and teacher educators. You can connect and collaborate with colleagues from all over Europe in joint STEM Professional Development projects!

Through our international newsletter we keep our partners, stakeholders and anyone interested in our work informed about the latest events and conferences, as well as reports and materials from ICSE and its projects.
